Proposed target structure for team review — March 10, 2026

What this is: The proposed final folder structure for our Shared Drive. Everything currently in the Drive will be moved into this structure. Old folders (Warren’s ALL CAPS folders, duplicate structures, etc.) will be emptied and deleted once all files are in their new home. Nothing gets deleted — files either go to their correct new location or into Archive.

Organizing principles:
  • Shoots live under Shoots/ — each production event gets a date-prefixed folder
  • Selects folders hold the curated best-of picks from each category — duplicates are fine, storage is irrelevant
  • “Not moving” = Photo & Statics. Static ads live alongside photos, not under Graphics. Graphics = source files (PSDs, AIs)
  • Kids / Adults split happens in any folder that hits ~50+ files
  • No platform folders (Meta / TikTok / YouTube) — the best ad runs on all platforms, so ads are organized by type (UGC, Animation, Founder, etc.) not where they run
  • Angle + agency/creator live in filenames, not folder structure
  • Old scripts & copy (12+ months) → Archive
  • Future product ideas (Awesome Creatine, etc.) get their own folder — once a product goes real, it slots into the existing structure
  • If we’re not sure → Team Review — no guessing on ambiguous files

Everything in here is active creative. Organized by type, then audience, then source/batch.
Why “Photo & Statics” instead of separate “Photo” and “Graphics”? Static ads are “not-moving ads” — the team thinks of them the same way they think of photos. A static ad might be a real person photo with text overlay, or a product shot with graphic elements. Either way, when someone’s looking for “that static ad we ran last week,” they’re going to look where the photos are, not in a Graphics folder. Graphics/Source Files (PSDs, AIs, Figma) get their own separate card.
Why no platform folders under Video → Ads? The same ad runs on Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. Platform folders would mean either duplicating the file 3x or only having it in whichever platform it first ran on — both are a mess. Instead, ads are organized by type (UGC, Animation, Founder, Produced) under Kids/Adults. The buyer persona or angle (immunity, picky eating, mood, sleep) lives in the filename so you can search for it without drowning in subfolders.

Two key rules:
1. Angle/buyer persona lives in the filename (immunity, picky-eating, mood, sleep, recovery) — not in the folder structure. Same ad runs on Meta, TikTok, YouTube — we don’t duplicate.
2. Agency/creator attribution goes in the filename too. Folders stay clean, and you can search by source or angle.

🧹 Cleanup Plan

Once all files are migrated, these old structures get deleted (not archived — actually removed, since their contents will already be in their new home):
